Chicken (category sponsored by Fraser Valley Specialty Poultry): Southern style competition BBQ chicken is cooked for approximately 4 hours.
Noon, JUDGES AREA:
Ribs (category sponsored by Johnston’s Pork): Southern style competition BBQ ribs is cooked for approximately 6 hours.
1PM, JUDGES AREA:
Pork Shoulder (category sponsored by Johnston’s Pork): Southern style competition BBQ ribs is cooked for approximately 12 hours.
2PM, JUDGES AREA:
Brisket (category sponsored by Envision Financial): Southern style competition BBQ brisket is cooked for between 12-16 hours.
3PM, JUDGES AREA:
Black Box: In this bonus round event, each team will receive four mystery ingredients to be incorporated into a single dish & submitted to a distinguished panel of judges who will award points based on originality, taste and presentation.
4:30PM, MAIN STAGE:
Join us at the main stage to see our competitors awarded category ribbons and trophies for each category leading up to our Grand Prize winner who will receive $5,000 cash and be named the Grand Champion of the 2017 Barn Burner BBQ.
