“One of the many reasons I love food is because it is the perfect medium to bring people closer together in a community,” says competition organizer Angie Quaale, owner of Well Seasoned and the host of the decade-old annual BBQ Off The Bypass competition. “Barn Burner BBQ is one of those events where the community comes together to have fun, celebrate its passion for food and support each other locally,”

We’re proud to announce our beef category sponsor for the 1st annual Barn Burner BBQ Competition: BC Meats!
BC Meats for BC Families is an association of local meat producers providing sustainable and safe meats to BC families. Their premium meats come directly from their producers straight to BC chefs, BC retailers and BC families!
100% BC BEEF comes from cattle that were entirely born, raised, fed and processed in six regions throughout British Columbia. To meet the premium quality standard of 100% BC BEEF you can be assured every product with the 100% BC BEEF logo has been assessed by the BC Meat Quality Information System and has been rated top quality. So by making the choice to buy 100% BC Beef, you’re supporting local farmers, sustainable agriculture and the local BC economy, and you’re serving high quality and humanely raised BC beef at your table.
